Do You Think We Could Have Made It?

Below is a poem from the book, available for purchase on Amazon.

The Great Weekend Child Shift

I pack your bag

for the weekend,

my little world traveler

Then watch you drag

it down the front steps

to wait for daddy.

This is the saddest time

time for me, realizing

how much we ask of you.

“This is a book I would like not to have written. However, from it came my reunion with my sense of humor and faith in the future.”
